On this early first journey to Morocco, still very much in the mode of long exposures, I experimented during my explorations of the souks of Marrakech by moving the camera while shooting. In this way, people, backgrounds and colours merged into new artistic compositions.
As it turned out, a difficult undertaking to control. 
Where it succeeded, unique moods emerged, and in my mind’s eye I already envisioned my second exhibition – this time with oriental, vividly coloured large-format works.
Unfortunately, the rejection rate with this technique was enormous, and in the end I was left with too few subjects to mount a photo exhibition from it.
